Dear Dr. Oh Do San,

This is Alexandra Gutierrez from Ottawa, Ontario (Canada). I am your patient. My husband is Juan Miguel Gutierrez from Peru. 

First of all, I like to thank you for a successful surgery. Right now I am almost 20 weeks and have no problems or pain. 

The reason I am writing to you is:

1. I need a letter from you saying I have had the McDonald Cerclage surgery done, and I need to be in bed rest until full term. I need to show this to immigration because my visa will expire the 4th of May. Therefore, either immigration can grant me extra time here until I give birth and until the baby is at least 3 months to travel back home OR I do a quick visa run to Japan (this would only be for 2 nights), and I would be resting the whole time in a hotel. I would also be accompanied by a friend.

2. I would like to give birth naturally (vaginal birth), preferably without an epidural.

3. I am interested in any birth classes, maternity classes that your hospital has to offer. I would like to learn the basics of holding, feeding and changing my baby.
